Short Bio

Thea Marti, a young independent filmmaker, was born in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Thea is interested in American Indians culture, ancient and modern philosophy, mythology, world history, experimental theater and underground subcultures.

She is convinced: whatever an artist creates he reconstitutes his own life story. At the same time Thea considers the arts to be not only means of individual self-expression, but the way to self-cognition. She believes that inspiration is a special kind of internal energy which should be used to improve the world by means of self-perfection.
