Bay Area Filmmakers Looking To Race Ahead In Quest For Grand Prize

Los Angeles, CA (July 30, 2009) - The first entrants into the competition have arrived in the form of students from the Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC), located in Northern California, USA. In the spirit of PutItOn.com's mission to help promote the needs of undiscovered artists, we are pleased to showcase their films along with all of the others from around the world. We wish them, and indeed all future entrants into the competition, the best of luck. If you haven't already made a film to enter into the competition, get started! The final deadline for entries is December 31, 2009.

Information about the BAVC:
The Bay Area Video Coalition's Next Generation programs offer a flexible pathway for youth who may lack support systems and the extra-curricular and leadership opportunities that can help to teach and reaffirm technology, learning and communication skills. Their programs help young people develop their artistic talent while providing them with advanced, industry-standard training in new media and helping them develop the "soft" skills necessary to successfully collaborate on and produce a high-quality creative product.
